HISTORY OF Gymnastiks UNLIMITED

Gymnastiks Unlimited was formed in 1987 in a pole barn on Baldwin just off I-196.
-
Penny, Maurene, Tom & Pam have been owners.
-
GU moved into the old K-Mart building behind McDonalds, Taco Bell & now Dunkin.
-
In 1997, the Wynsma Family bought into GU.
-
In 1997, there were two locations- one in Grandville and another in Grand Haven.
-
The Grandville location was originally in Grand Village Mall, which is now Mars Hill Bible Church.

We moved to Busch dr. in Grandville in 2000.

We moved to SoccerZone in 2004. (We were in the back half of the middle field at this time.)

We moved to Highland Dr in Hudsonville in 2008.

We moved back to SoccerZone in 2016.

We changed our name to Kids Unlimited Activity Center in 2016.

Customers continued to recognized us as GU.
-
We changed our name back to Gymnastiks Unlimited in 2024. Back to our roots.
